11th ANNUAL LOCAL 24 FAMILY PICNIC

Local 24's 11th Annual Family Picnic drew a great crowd, with over 1500 adults and 300 children in attendance. The crowd enjoyed beautiful weather as they engaged in all the entertainments the Picnic had to offer. Amusements included an Animal Adventure petting zoo with rabbits, ducks, turtles and reptiles; inflatable attractions like a 30-foot slide, a 60-foot obstacle course, a climbing wall, and a gladiator joust; crafts such as candy art, beading and wood photo blocks; carnival games, bingo and family photos. Many attendees also competed in the horseshoe tournament. Over the course of the day, 83 door prizes were given away, too.

Kudos to the Picnic Committee for putting together a wonderful day of family fun! Thanks to all the members and retirees, and their families who came out to share the day with their Local 24 brothers and sisters. We hope to see everyone at the picnic next year!

2010 C.O.P.E. Drawing Winners
