Local 24 OSHA 10 Class


An OSHA 10 class will be held in Local 24’s Training Room 219 on Thursday, January 12th and Friday, January 13th 2012 and will be taught by Maryland Occupational Safety and Health Staff from the Maryland Department of Labor and Industry, Department of Labor, Licensing and Regulation.


The two day class will start at 7:30 AM on Thursday, January 12th and run until 3:00 PM. Class will start again at 7:30 AM on Friday, January 13th and conclude at 1:00 PM. There is no cost for this course and lunch will be served on both days. The State has stressed that participants start on time and stay for the entire class to get credit for the course and receive the OSHA 10 card.


Registration will occur on a first come first served basis. Please contact the Union Hall to register.

As the holidays approach and we are still experiencing high unemployment,

Local 24 and the AFL-CIO food pantry will begin collecting food

for the Thanksgiving and Christmas holidays.

Donations can be made on the job or at the union hall.
