SALISBURY ---- Lloyd Thomas Hosier, 80, of Salisbury died Friday, Sept. 15, 2006, at his home in Salisbury.
Born in Salisbury, he was a son of the late Lloyd and Edna (Adkins) Hosier and husband of the late Jean Hosier, who preceded him in death in 1995.
Mr. Hosier was a World War II Army veteran. He was a master electrician and was a member of International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers, Local Union 24. He was a very active member of the Eastern Shore Region of the Antique Automobile Club of America and Rivera Owners Association. He was a loving father, grandfather and great-grandfather.
He is survived by three daughters, Martha Jean Williams and her husband, Robert, of Salisbury, Susan M. Rainey of Delmar and Tammy Betterton of Salisbury; one son, Tommy Hosier of Salisbury; grandchildren, Amy Williams Rhodes of Salisbury, Heather Williams Jones of Salisbury, Kristen Betterton Pittas of Tyaskin, Logan Russell Betterton of Salisbury, Emily Elizabeth Rainey of Salisbury, Travis Post of Cheboygan, Mich., Rebecca Ann Rainey of Salisbury, Hannah Jean Hosier of Seaford; great-grandson, Seth Robert Jones; and four nephews; two sisters, Elizabeth Matthews of Kingston and Jean Trimmer of Salisbury; and one brother, Alvin Hosier of Vineland, N.J.
In addition to his wife, he was preceded in death by two sisters, Helen Hosier and June Gelder, and a son-in-law, David Russell Betterton.
A funeral service will be held Wednesday at 1:30 p.m. at Holloway Funeral Home in Salisbury, with a visitation one hour prior to the service. Interment will be Wednesday in Wicomico Memorial Park in Salisbury.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial donations be sent to the American Cancer Society-Wicomico County Unit, PO Box 163, Salisbury, Md. 21801.
