On November 3, 2014, Frank J. "Babe" Pasta, of Hampstead, beloved father of Catherine P. Smith & her husband Douglas H., Dominic J. Pasta & his wife Michele and Frank Pasta & his wife Amy; dear brother of Pete W. Pasta, Salvatore M. Pasta, Rosalie G. Maurer, Toni Dougherty and Beatrice M. Stoney; loving grandfather of Douglas Smith & his wife Rebecca, Dominic & Kyle. Frank worked for over 34 years for I.B.E.W Local 24 as an electrician and 9 years for Johns Hopkins Outpatient Center as an Electrical Engineer before retiring. Frank also has a extensive history of community service. He served as Senior Vice Commander of VFW Post 9083 and Life Member in addition to being an active member of the Cooties. He was also a member of the Parkville American Legion Post 183, Parkville Pleasure Club and past President for the Putty Hill Optimist club. Frank also coached several years at Parkville Recreation Council's Sports teams. Family and friends will honor Frank's life at the family owned Evans Funeral Chapel and Cremation Services - Bel Air, 3 Newport Drive (Rt. 23 & Rt. 24), Forest Hill on Thursday, November 6, 2014 from 2-4 & 6-8 PM. where a Prayer Service will be held on Friday at 1:30 P.M.
