John Vertolli Jr.

age 55 of Glen Burnie, Md. passed away Friday, Aug. 22, 2014 in his home after an extended illness. He was a graduate of St. Thomas Aquinas High school. He attended the University of Toledo and the University of Akron. John was also an Eagle Scout. He was an electrician by trade, and a member of the international Electrical Union.

He is preceded in death by his loving wife Renee in 2008. He is survived by his daughter, Clarisa Renee of the home; and a son, Darren (Telitha) Parsons of Newport, Pa.; his devoted and loving parents, John and Anita of East Canton, Ohio. He is also survived by a sister and brother, Cathy (Gary) McKinney of Waynesburg and Jim (Laurie) of North Canton; several nieces and nephews.

A Memorial Mass was held in Eldersburg, Md. and graveside services will be held at Calvary Cemetery on Friday, Sept. 5, 2014 at 10 a.m. with monsignor Gateano Officiating.
