Paul Blair Riley, 84, a 50-year resident of Glen Burnie, died September 3 at Baltimore Washington Medical Center.

He was born Nov. 13, 1925, in Kingwood, W.Va., and pursued an electrical apprenticeship during high school. He served in the U.S. Marine Corps, 2nd Marine Corps Division, Pacific Theatre during World War II.

He was a member of the Elks, the Moose Lodge, VFW, IBEW, the American Legion and the Pascal Senior Center. His hobbies included woodworking, reading and dancing.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Dorothy Riley.

He is survived by two sons, Michael Riley of Millsboro, Del. and Timothy Riley of Catonsville; Rita Zeller of Glen Burnie; four grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.

A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. on Sunday, September 12 at Fink Funeral Home, P.A., 426 Crain Highway South, Glen Burnie. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of the Chesapeake, the American Lung Association or the American Cancer Society.
