HERBERT , John F. On January 11, 2009, JOHN "Jay" HERBERT III, beloved husband of 38 years of Jean L. Herbert (nee Phillips), loving father of Jennifer M. Herbert, John F. Herbert IV and Julia K. Carter and her husband Anthony; devoted son of John F. Jr., and Joan Herbert; dear brother of Dr. James T. Herbert and his wife Leigh, Jeffrey L. Herbert and his wife Lisa, Joseph M. Herbert and his wife Cheryl and the late Jerome A. Herbert; brother-in-law of Dr. William C. Phillips and his wife Judy. Also survived by many loving nieces, nephews, family members and friends.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Augustine Roman Catholic Church, 5976 Old Washington Road, Elkridge, MD on Thursday at 12 noon.
